Must have completed Introduction to Entertainment Design
Must have a computer with Photoshop.
For serious teens and up

The focus of these classes will be to understand story structure and the dynamics of telling that story through storyboards. Students must have some drawing skills, and proficiency in Photoshop.
We will work mainly in graphite and computer. If you have a digital tablet bring it.

DAY ONE- Lecture on the Art of Story. We will review how story principles can affect the entire design of a project. After a story is broken down into scenes, then storyboards create the flow of the action.

- We focus on flat, middle and deep space. Camera angles, editing techniques are all sketched out.

DAY TWO- Your Storyboarding style. Material techniques that define your methodology. We refine a few of your strongest storyboard panels to create a finished look to the art.

MATERIALS

Graphite sticks, pencils, kneaded eraser, stick/barrel eraser, sketchbook, and iPad with Procreate or laptop computer with Photoshop.
