These are opportunities to acquire original, one-of-a-kind artworks, created directly on official Magic: The Gathering artist proof cards from the landmark 1997 Visions set. I created the Charm Cycle of Funeral, Hearth, Vision, Emerald and Hope charm cards. These five works together are Magic’s earliest and most elegant expressions of five-color design.
On these white backs, I create a multi-media artwork that integrates elements of drawing, painting, printing and collage. Below are examples.
Available as individual works or as a complete five-card super set.
A five card super set unites the cycle— five distinct pieces forming a single, cohesive artistic statement of alchemical symbolism with a feminine or masculine theme.
Individual cards are conceived with the same conceptual foundation.
These are for display mainly, but can be playable if placed in solid protective sleeves that will not bend. Let me know if you intend to play the game with these.
